St. Patrick's Day                             Question: What is a holiday in the month of March in which people                                                                               wear green?
Your Turn:
Answer: winter                                              Your Question:

(Note: There may be many different questions that will work, but to see if your question works, be prepared to state it out loud, while we answer with the word "winter." Does it work?)

Writing:
Here is the story you will continue writing today. Be sure to copy these first few sentences in your notebooks to get the running start you need for the ideas to flow. Remember to use parallel sentence structure, which means to keep the same verb tenses, point of view, and tone. Have fun!

Terri's day was already off to a bad start. She had driven all the way to work before she realized she had forgotten not only her house keys, but her lunch, too. Any other day, it would not have mattered as much. But today was not any other day. Today was different.

Finish the story!
